For the first time the producer has increased the harvesting team to ensure the grapes were picked at a perfect ripening point. The prompt decisions and the respectful care have allowed the winemaker to consider 2018 as an excellent vintage.
Ruby red colour, medium bodied wine, showing freshness and integrity of fruit, with dark berries aromas and graphite-like complexity, with a long, dried flowers aftertaste.
Maceration and fermentation on the skin for 12-15 days at uncontrolled temperature, to give tannins, concentration and a touch of wildness, malolactic fermentation to increase body and texture, 12 months in big barrels of 3500 l and cement tanks to give complexity and elegancy.
Lovely wine, that can age well for couple of years, but ready for drinking now.
